I first started DJing in 1998 with a residency at The Old School in Oxford. Luckily the club night was a sucsess with ques forming well before the doors opened. I found I was quickly building up a large following and was also doing regular DJ sets in Aylesbury and Pacha Club in the south of France.
After playing a set at The Beach Club in Newquay Cornwall, I was offered residency and decided to move to Cornwall full time. Things moved pretty quickly in my first summer in the town, playing at all the large clubs including Berties, Barracuda, Tall Trees & The Sailors. This later progressed into me hosting my very own radio show on Newquay's summertime radio station 'Malibu Surf FM'. After 10 years of living and DJing in Newquay I decided it was time for a change and moved to Brighton.
Once in Brighton I booked up sets in local bars and clubs and this resulted in obtaining residencies at RDF, Lola Lo, Oceana, Digital & Revolution. Then came an offer from Ministry Of Sound to be resident DJ at their HedKandi bar on Monday nights. From here I went on to take over the Fridays and Saturdays in the club and when I recorded a live mix one night Ministry Of Sound showed their support by playing the entire mix on their radio station in America. Ibiza Clubbing guide also picked up on another one of my live recorded mixes and awarded me 'Mix Of The Month' for the September closing parties.
Since then I have booked up sets at various clubs in London and Oxford, DJed for major sporting events including a mixed martials event UCMMA that was aired live on Sky Sports & most recently Kai DJed at Newquay Boardmasters Festival and to 30,000 football fans at Upton Park Stadium. I have also DJed for Danny Dyer, Hugo & Lauren Pope from Made In Chelsea, Gerodie Shore, Calvin Harris, Juliette Lewis and Dave Pearce (Radio 1). I still love DJing in bars and clubs and I now also run my own wedding and events disco business.
